Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Our Task Force is comprised of 8 distinct working groups reflecting all stakeholders here. Together, we will ensure our values on equity, diversity, and inclusion are central to our research, teaching, and clinical practice missions.

A digital repository to foster sense of belonging for all community members. This library provides another outlet for listening and learning, beyond the outlets specific to the Task Force.

The Moody College of Communication is committed to a culture of inclusion and equity in which all of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors are welcome and respected. We believe that embracing diversity, within our faculty, staff, students, and curricula, creates a beneficial atmosphere for teaching, learning, and inquiry, and is a necessary condition for preparing our students to succeed in a diverse world and to change it for the better.

The purpose of the MSLP is to recruit and retain racial/ethnic minorities that have been historically under-represented our professions, to provide focused educational programming and activities to build and enhance leadership skills, to provide an understanding of how the association works and to provide an opportunity for program participants to interact with leaders in our professions.

The DDCE is a national model for integrating diversity and community engagement into the core mission of a university. The Division focuses on four core pillars: campus culture, community engagement, education pipeline, and research.

SSD ensures students with disabilities have equal access to their academic experiences at the University of Texas at Austin. SSD also engages in outreach across campus in order to make campus a more inclusive, accessible and welcoming environment for people with disabilities.
