MSSLHS Program
Gain theoretical knowledge and practical experience through hands-on training in evaluation and clinical methods that address communication needs across all stages of life.

Au.D. Program
The University of Texas at Austin offers an interdisciplinary Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) that consists of a minimum of 100 semester credit hours beyond the bachelor's level. The degree program focuses on academic and clinical education for those entering the profession of audiology.
This program gives you both the knowledge and hands-on experience to make a real difference in patients' quality of life and prepares you to step confidently into your career, wherever it may take you.
Ph.D. Program
Our program is built on an apprenticeship model, and each doctoral student has a mentor who acts as the students' primary advisor and instructor. You may contact our faculty with your questions about specific programs.
The SLHS program at UT-Austin has truly been a life-changing experience. This program not only shaped me into a confident clinician but also equipped me with invaluable professional and life skills that I will carry with me throughout my career.
Graduate Admissions
We only offer Fall admittance for all graduate programs. Applications open September 1. The deadline to submit all applications and materials is December 15. Letters of Recommendation are due January 5.
