We are conducting a study that seeks to advance the understanding of the effect of extended high frequency hearing loss in children and adults.
Criteria to participate:
- be in the age range 4-35 years old
- have normal hearing
- not have any speech, language, learning, or behavioral problems
Participation in this research study is completely voluntary, and you may choose not to participate with no penalty.
As a participant, you will complete listening tests and an interview which will take approximately 4 hours. All data will be treated confidentially. You will receive a regular hearing test and you will be compensated for your time spent in the form of a gift card of your choice!
**This research study has been reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects (IRB) at the University of Texas at Austin.**
