Project SKILLS is a free parent training program for parents/caregivers of young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. The project focuses on teaching language intervention strategies to parents for improving social interaction and language skills in their child.

Parents will participate in 8 sessions (attending 1 session per week). During the opening session, we meet with all enrolled parents as a group (parents only) and go over introductory information about the parent training we offer for facilitating play/language growth. The subsequent seven individual sessions are tailored to each family, and the parent and child attend together. During each individual session, we will cover detailed lectures, demonstrations, and coaching over these specific skills. During the pandemic, this training is offered only via secure video conferencing to your home.

Our next sessions start in August!
